""House Democrats will force a vote on whether the Confederate flag should continued to be displayed in national cemeteries run by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) revived a similar amendment that he offered to an Interior Department spending bill last year that ultimately derailed the entire appropriations process. His latest amendment to the 2017 bill funding the VA and military construction projects, offered shortly after midnight on Thursday, would prohibit the large-scale display of the Confederate flag in VA cemeteries such as flying the banner over mass graves. However, it would still permit families to place small individual Confederate flags on graves for limited amounts of time two days a year."

House Democrats are shamelessly trying to bully Republicans into including measures that would prevent us from flying a Confederate flag in cemeteries where Confederate soldiers are buried, in the hopes that they will cave to their demands rather than risk funding the V.A.
CALL, EMAIL, and WRITE your legislators today...and urge them to vote against ANY and all attempts to restrict the display of our flags and memorials, or prevent any citizen from honoring our Confederate Veterans as they so choose. Remind them that they are supposed to represent ALL of their constituents. Tell them to stand up to the bullying tactics of the liberals, or expect to be out of a job soon. "
